Last updated: September 4, 2026. This policy describes the current PerfMonitoring.com build and the privacy choices that apply when you use its research pages and browser-based tools.
Information processed when you visit
The hosting or CDN provider may process ordinary request data such as IP address, time, requested URL, browser or user-agent information, referrer and response status for delivery, security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. Retention depends on the production hosting configuration.
Google Analytics
Most content pages include Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage. This build sets Google consent signals to denied by default for advertising storage, analytics storage, ad user data and ad personalization. A consent management platform can update those choices where appropriate. The privacy policy page itself does not load the analytics tag.
Google may process device, browser, network and interaction information according to its own terms and privacy documentation. You can review Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Browser-based tools
Calculators run in your browser. Network-checking utilities can cause your browser to contact a URL you provide, so the destination server may receive normal request metadata. Browser security rules such as CORS can limit what the tool can read. Do not enter credentials, API keys, private URLs or sensitive personal information into public diagnostic tools.
Third-party links and assets
PerfMonitoring links to official vendor websites and may load third-party brand assets. Opening or loading a third-party resource creates a connection to that provider, which applies its own privacy practices. Vendor links are provided for research and verification; the current build does not contain affiliate links.
Advertising and Google AdSense
The current source package does not contain a Google AdSense publisher tag or live ad units. If AdSense is enabled after account and site approval, this policy must continue to match the live configuration. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage or similar identifiers as permitted by the user's choices and applicable rules.
For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, personalized advertising should only be enabled with the required consent flow. The deployment owner must configure a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework where Google requires it.
Consent and privacy choices
When Google Privacy & messaging or another certified CMP is enabled, visitors should be given the controls required by that implementation, including a way to revisit or revoke consent. The site owner is responsible for keeping the consent configuration, vendor list and this policy synchronized with the live site.
Data minimization
PerfMonitoring is designed as an informational site rather than an account or profile service. Avoid submitting confidential information to browser tools. If future features add forms, accounts, newsletters, advertising partners or other data collection, the policy should be updated before those features are launched.
Policy changes
This page should be reviewed whenever hosting, analytics, advertising, consent tooling or browser utilities change materially. A privacy notice is only useful when it describes the deployed implementation rather than an earlier version of the site.
